Southern Arkansas senior setter Taylor Reaume has been named as the Great American Conference Setter of the Week as it was announced by the league office on Monday.
Reaume, a native of El Cajon, Calif., earned her first Setter of the Week honor this year as she collected 194 assists this past week and attacked at a clip of .388 with limited opportunities.
In the home opener for SAU on Tuesday, Reaume logged her first double-double of the year in a 3-0 win over Division I Grambling State (36 assists, 10 digs). At the Tiger/Savage Storm Classic over the weekend, Reaume recorded back-to-back double-doubles in a win over Oklahoma Panhandle State (31 assists, 12 digs) and a five-set loss to unbeaten Cameron University (49 assists, 11 digs).
The 49 assists against Cameron were a season-high for Reaume.
